The Armani EA 9654

The Armani EA 9654 is one of the coolest frames in the Emporio Armani optical collection.

Ranging from subtle colours to more wacky ones, the EA 9654 definitely has something in store for all of us. This review will look more into what these frames can offer us in terms of appearance and function. The look of this model is stylish, modern and very easy to wear.

The fully rimmed frame of the Armani EA 9654 is a hit with everyone as they can support all lenses from your standard 1.5 lenses to the thinnest and lightest lenses, the 1.74 plastic. If you have a prescription over +/- 5.00 then it is strongly recommended you choose a 1.67 or 1.74 lens for any frame. The classic rectangle shape is also a popular choice for the male audience. The angular lines will really bring out your chiselled good looks.

If you don’t really have strong facial features, don’t panic! The rectangle shape of the EA 9654 will help you out by slimming down fuller faces and contouring cheeks and the jaw line. You can go as wild as you like with colour; choose from the lime green-black, or go all out with orange-brown. If you’re more of a teddy bear than a raging beast, there’s also subtle colours to suit you. The dark grey and black-grey are a really popular choices for the tamed. The EA 9654 metal frame not only looks good, it’s also very durable, strong, and more flexible than plastic. Plastic and acetate frames have some appeal; they are smooth and very easy to clean.

However, plastic and acetate can easily scratch. With metal being scratch resistant, the EA 9654 would last longer (than plastic) so you’d get more value for your money if you invest in a metal frame. Nose pads allow the Armani EA 9654 to sit better on your face as you can adjust the pads to the right height for your bridge. Plastic frames don’t have adjustable nose pads like metal frames. However with a special heating technique done at the opticians, they can install the nose pads for you at a charge.
