Chanel Eyewear Collections
The Chanel eyewear collection is designed for sophisticated, elegant and refined individuals who pay great attention detailing, craftsmanship and quality. Chanel’s personal life and interests became the key elements of her work. Later, these turned into the icons that represented her pieces.

The Chanel Signature Icon
The 'CHANEL' signature is found on a few models of the eyewear but the interlaced CC remains the brand's main logo. Apart from the double C icon, there are six more that each represent a collection (see below).

Quilting/Matelasse
The quilting symbolises her love of horse riding and equestrian wear. Lambskin leather is the material used for the eyewear collection.

Tweed
Tweed is used a lot for clothing and handbags however is not used as a material in eyewear. The eyewear collection is made from an acetate frame that has a tweed effect applied to it.

Chains
The chain design is used continuously in Chanel accessories from handbags to eyewear. The chains depict the equestrian bridles. Calfskin leather is used for the leather cord in the chains for the eyewear collection.

Pearls
Chanel loved wearing pearls and diamonds, hence their recurrence in her designs. Pearls in the eyewear collection are usually set in rows of 3, or set individually.

Camellia
The white camellia is an Asian flower that represents longevity and purity; this was her favourite flower. The camellia portrays simplicity and beauty.

Charms
Chanel’s lucky charms include bows, stars, and wheat. The bows and stars are icons that represent romance and love, whilst the wheat icon represents prosperity.

The Luxottica Group is the licensed manufacturer of the Chanel brand. Chanel is an exclusive luxury brand. Fashion Eyewear are legally authorised to stock and distribute the brand's eyewear collections.
