The Oakley Story
Jim Jannard, the founder of Oakley started his brand with $300 and a mind full of ideas. He desired more from the eyewear at the time. His first invention of revolutionary eyewear (Eyeshades®) was a huge success. He continued to develop and redefine sport eyewear with each design bettering the last. His designs have been awarded with more than 600 patents worldwide which ensures the protection of his closely-guarded technologies.

The Oakley philosophy is based on their 5 rules of design. This collection is for men and women who participate in sports activities but not as rigorously as athletes. If you are actively exercising and you need a good level of sports optimisation from your eyewear, the active range will provide you with what you need in addition to the Oakley experience.

Oakley Lifestyle
Oakley Lifestyle is for men and women who do not require any sport-enhancing technology although you will still receive the full Oakley experience (HDO® techonology, 3-point grip frames, and beautiful styling and function).
