Designer Varifocal Lenses
Do you need more than one pair of glasses for different purposes i.e. reading or watching TV, driving, or using the computer? If the answer is yes then you are suitable for varifocal lenses.
What Are Varifocal Lenses?
Unlike single vision lenses that only have one prescription added, known as a power, these multi-focal lenses have multiple powers to correct different refractive errors simultaneously. In a varifocal lens, the top half would generally be used to correct far-distance errors, the bottom section would be used to correct near-distance errors, and a small middle section (known as the intermediate) would be used to correct mid-distance errors.
The Different Types Of Lenses
There are four different types of the designer varifocal lenses option; these are basic, advanced, premium and elite. Each type offers the same product but better visual acuity, clarity, and easier adaptation. If you are new to wearing varifocals, it’s highly recommended that you invest in a premium or elite lens.
