Brad Pitt's Glasses at the Fury Premiere

Brad Pitt's Glasses at the Fury Premiere

Brad Pitt was rocking quite a retro look at his latest movie, the Fury's premiere at the closing night of the BFI London Film Festival: a moustache that reminded us that Movember is soon about to start and a pair of Tom Ford specs gave the American actor more of a respectful teacher look.

Mr Pitt has been named "world's most attractive man", has been on countless sexiest man in the world lists and has been involved with actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston before settling down with Angelina Jolie and their six children. Brought up in Springfield, Minnesota, in "Mark Twain country, Jesse James country", surrounded by a lot of lakes and hills, he decided that acting, what he was passionate about can't be done in in Minnesota, so he moved to where anything is possible: Los Angeles.

After a small role in Dallas for a few episodes, Brad first gained recognition in the road movie Thelma & Louise (1991) and form that on he starred in big-budget productions like Interview with the Vampire (1994), Seven (1995) and 12 Monkeys (1995), earning a Golden Globe Award for the latter. One of his biggest success has probably been starring in the cult movie Fight Club (1999). In 2001 he teamed up with George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts & co for Ocean's 11, then later the sequels Ocean's 12 and Ocean's 13. He portrayed Achilles in Troy (2004) and a time traveller in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).

TOM FORD TF5295

Tom Ford is a designer who is not shy of re-designing eyewear styles from the past. His optical collection consists of many frame designs that were inspired by past decades and this rectangular black frame is a typical example of how a classic spectacles shape can be translated into a luxurious design. Beautifully hand-crafted by artisans in Italy, the Tom Ford TF5295 is a fully rimmed eyeglasses model. A lot of people like to use subtle ways in order to convey their sense of taste and style; wearing a pair of Tom Ford glasses is just the right way to subtly tell people how fashionable you are. The distinctive 'T' motif on the frame and temple stems let you, and others know (in a subtle and sophisticated way) that these frames have been made by Tom Ford. If it's good enough for a Hollywood movie star, it's good enough for us!
